The 2006 SAGE-AU Annual Conference will be held at The Chifley on Northbourne, 102 Northbourne Avenue, Canberra.

The hotel is located only minutes from the city centre and is ideally placed for all the major attractions of Canberra, entertainment and shopping.

Facilities include the award winning Northbourne Restaurant, a bar open daily from 5:00pm, 24 hour room service, an exercise room and swimming pool.

Complimentary parking is provided (subject to availability). Additional meter parking is located directly behind the hotel in Mort Street, with easy access to the hotel.

The hotel is approximately 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. The cost will be around $20.

The Airliner shuttle bus runs from the airport to Canberra city (Monday to Friday only) - look for the shuttle bus stop as you leave the central terminal. The fare is only $7 one way and $12 return.
