Call for Technical Papers

The 2006 Australian System Administration Conference is hereby calling for papers on topics relevant to the profession of System Administration.

Papers should have a technical or managerial System Administration orientation, and should not contain advertising.

Submitting a Technical Presentation for Consideration

Technical Papers will be of 30 minute duration. 5-10 minutes should be reserved for questions from the audience.

If you wish to present a paper, please complete the submission form which can be found at: http://www.sage-au.org.au/past/tech-submit.html by the closing date (28 February 2006).

Authors will be notified of whether their submission has been accepted or rejected.

A draft paper is also submitted to allow the conference committee to provide feedback and assistance. The Program Committee will assist authors in organising their work to help ensure the quality of papers and preparedness of authors.

All authors giving Technical Papers will be expected to provide a final "camera ready" paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

This final copy must be submitted in an approved format (see "Author Guidelines").

Authors should note that formal papers are required - submissions consisting solely of presentation slides are insufficient.

Important note: Authors whose submissions are accepted are expected to follow the published deadlines, and to present the result of their work at the Conference. To assist in this, authors may be assigned "mentors".

  • Microsoft Word
  • HTML

Final Technical Paper submissions must be made using one of these templates. Templates will be made available from the conference website.
