Conference Dinner

The 2002 Conference dinner will be held on Thursday 8th August 2002 at the Melbourne Museum. Specially hired trams will collect delegates from the Novotel Melbourne on Collins at 7pm (immediately following the AGM) for the short ride to the Museum in the Carlton Gardens. Drinks and savouries will be served while you wander through the Science & Life Gallery, home of Australia's first computer, CSIRAC. A three course dinner and unlimited beverages (including spirits) will be served throughout the evening. The evening will end at 11pm when you will be free to make your own way home or to visit some of Melbourne's nightlife. All conference attendees (ie. those attending Thursday and Friday's sessions) have 1 dinner ticket included in their registration Those attending tutorials only, or delegates wishing to bring a partner to the dinner may purchase extra tickets on their registration form for $88.
