OLD CONFERENCE PAPERS inc PRE SAGE-AU

For those of you keen to have a look at the industry from more than 12 years ago - here is a collection of info and papers provided by Hal Miller, Founder of SAGE-AU, and membership number 1, who has agreed to share some of these memories with members.

Here's the beginning of NetWorkShop 91. It was at this conference that people recognised the end was near. AARNet was mostly in place, so the group would not need to function much longer. The 1992 conference was the last. At the 1991 affair, Hal decided to try forming a new group to succeed the old one, shifting focus to sysadmin. At the 1992 one in Brisbane, he called a BoF, and officially formed SAGE-AU. So, here's the 1991 paper collection.
